You have never seen anything like this.

We are making history.

The non-profit association ALBAOLA is making history by building wooden boats live, and recovering heritage, tools, techniques and traditional crafts. All this in a sustainable way, in an old, out of use shipyard turned museum and located in a historic whaling port: PASAIA.

Special opening times for September 2020.

Days we are open.

○ Thursdays 10:00-14:00

○ Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays: 10:00-14:00 / 15:00-19:00

Acces only by boat and for free!

The road to Albaola is temporally closed, so this is the only way to access the museum. The boat-ride is a calm, 10-minute journey across the bay of Pasaia.

○ Boat pick-up point: “Muelle del Hospitalillo” dock in Trintxerpe

Prior booking necessary.

Due to the restricted number of people allowed in the museum, prior booking is necessary. If you would like to visit us, make your reservation to visit Albaola, boat-ride included, either by email or phone:

Summer 2020 access by boat

The road to Albaola is temporarily closed. Because of this, this summer we are providing a free boat service for our visitors to come to the Factory. All visitors will get the boat from the “Muelle del Hospitalillo” Dock in Trintxerpe at a pre-booked time. This dock is very close to the “Herrera” station of both the Euskotren and Renfe trains, the “Escalerillas” stop of the EKIALDEBUS buses, and the “Trintxerpe” stop of the E9 SAN SEBASTIÁN -> SAN PEDRO bus.

Without them, this adventure would be impossible to achieve.

Here all the companies and institutions who helped us during this journey.
